Dead links are URL addresses that your Digimind agent can no longer get to. This may happen for a number of reasons: the webpage has been deleted, the server hosting the page has been moved, the URL has been modified, etc.
Links are considered to be dead if the agent has tried to access it three consecutive times without success.
You may want to check on your dead links one or twice a year, just to make sure that you are not missing any crucial sources in your monitoring system.
See which links are dead
Inside the setting, click on agents, click on "more actions" and then select "list of dead links" from the drop-down menu.
This will take you to a page on which you will see a list of your monitoring agents with either a list of the dead links associated with each monitoring agent, or a message to say there are no dead links for the monitoring agent.
From here, you can click on
- the yellow pencils to edit either the monitoring (if you have no dead links) or the link (if there is a dead link)
- the red cross to remove the source from the agent
