You may find that you are only interested in one section of a webpage. This could be very useful depending on how the page has been constructed. Some pages presenting information in several boxes or columns. In this case, you can use area tracking to limit your monitoring to only the parts of the page that interest you. As the source is a webpage, your Digimind agent will inform you of changes to the content of the page. For RSS feeds and webnews, it is preferable to use Smart Tracker to add sources to your agents.
Inside an agent, click on more actions and then select "Advanced configuration".
Then in the list of sources, under Webpages, click to add a webpage source with area tracker.
This will open a new page. Copy in the URL of the page you would like to track.
Click on next. This will take you to a Digimind page, on which you can select the part or parts of the page to track, by clicking on them. The sections you chose will show in red.
Click on validate to add this source, tracking the areas in red to your agent.
Modifying area tracker
Back inside the advanced configuration of your agent, by the side of the webpage you will see a yellow pencil. Click on it to edit the source.
This will open a new window in which you can modify the area to track, and other elements of the source.
