Sometimes you know exactly which sources you would like to monitor, and then using the Smart Tracker you can quickly copy the URL into Digimind and start tracking this source for any new information.
On other occasions, you know the kind of information you would like to have but you may not know which sources to monitor.
Digimind can help you in four different ways:
1. Smart Tracker and Keywords
Using Smart Tracker you can start to interrogate different search engines with a keyword. Your agent will then bring you back the search results from these search engines, which you can then filter with a query to limit the amount of noise you receive.
2. Add sources from the URL Store
The URL store contains an ever-increasing list of sources, to which you can apply filters to select the ones that are most pertinent to your needs. You can add packs of sources, based on type of media, language, business sector, etc.
3. Find information in the Digimind Content Factory
The Digimind Content Factory (DCF) contains hundreds of thousands of articles, to which you can apply built in Digimind filters to refine the information. In this way you can create searches which answer your needs. In addition, you can add the results of a DCF search to an agent as a source, by clicking on the red link at the top of the DCF results page.
4. Use Source Discovery
Source Discovery will help you to identify sources that mention your keywords, either from the DCF or from the internet.
