What is an Email Alert?
If you choose, Digimind can send an email to let you know that either:
- an agent has found an article that corresponds to your search requirements
- a piece of information has been validated or stored into a specific folder
Why is this useful?
Obviously this depends a lot on each person's working style. Some people choose to have alerts for all or most of their agents. Some users prefer not to activate this option at all.
There are however, some specific cases for which an alert may be of great help.
- You have created an agent that doesn't often bring back information, but the information it does bring back is of great value to you.
- You would like to be kept informed of all the information stored into a specific folder but don't want to set up a newsletter.
How do to set it up?
Click on your avatar in the top right hand corner of Digimind and then on My Account.
Then open the tab "Email alerts" and then click to enable this option.
In the advanced fields, you can specify which agents and / or folders you would like to apply this to.
