Digimind Newsletters automatically send out the information you have collected and stored into Digimind. The newsletters are sent out on a regular basis to the list of recipients you have specified. This makes them a great way to quickly and easily publish the information your readers need to know. To find out more about working with our newsletters you can follow this post.
To Send or Not To Send
The great thing about newsletters is that once you have set them up they will be automatically sent out at the frequency you have specified if the information has been stored into the corresponding folders.
There are times however when this great automatic feature of the newsletters may not perfectly suit your needs. There are moments when you may need to interrupt the sending out a newsletter or a set of newsletters:
- the newsletter deals with recurrent seasonal information, for example, news from a trade show or annual conference
- the contents of the newsletter become sensitive following a communication or other crisis
- the folders for the newsletter are fed by automatic validation and the tracker in charge of controlling the contents will be absent from the office
From February 26th, 2015 enabling and deactivating newsletters become much much easier, following a request from one of our clients.
Directly from the newsletter page, you are able to switch off and on your newsletters, with a simple click. To find out more about this feature, please follow this link.
The right of the newsletters page will be updated to include clickable buttons:
Clicking on enabled allows you to deactivate the newsletter, while clicking on disabled allows you to resume automatic sending of the newsletter.
Previously to change the status of a newsletter our users were required to edit the newsletter and work through the whole newsletter generation process again. We are hoping that this update will make newsletter management quicker and smoother.
