The Reader for Alerts
Digimind Intelligence uses a monitoring system based on agents to pick up the latest news and articles on the subjects you are interested in. Users create their monitoring agents to answer the needs and the questions they have. To find out more about what agents to and how to set them up you can read this post.
Once you have created a monitoring agent you will probably want to see the alerts from the agent. There are two ways of doing this, either on a dashboard or using the Reader. If you would like to know more about the two possibilities you can follow this link.
This article explains how to use the Reader for alerts. To read about how to set up a dashboard to display alerts (and other types of information) you can click here.
Advantages of using the Reader for Alerts
The big advantage of using the Reader to consult and work with your alerts is that there is no need to set it up or configure it. All the alerts from the agents to which you have access will automatically be displayed. In addition the Reader memorizes the agents you have most recently looked at and displays the last 10 on the left of the screen. This makes it a great way of quickly taking a look at what is new today and then digging further into the alerts that are most important for you.
Working with Alerts on the Reader
To see your alerts on the Reader, first click to open the Reader and then select alerts:
There are a number of filters you can apply, and different sorting options which will help you get to the alerts you need to treat a little quicker.
