The Source Discovery feature of Digimind helps you to identify and track RSS feeds and web pages. In this way you can easily extend the extent of your CI watch, while making sure the information sources are still pertinent to your objectives.
Source Discovery is useful while setting up a CI project and then also as part of regular maintenance:
- Set up
At the start of a CI project Source Discovery can quickly identify sources you should be tracking, allowing you to quickly go from a limited initial understanding of a theme to a deeper more precise knowledge.
- Maintenance
After a CI project has been running for a while, it is useful to check for new sources in order to keep abreast of changes in the webosphere and then track emerging blogs, trade magazines and other publications.
What to do
On a monitoring Click on “add a source ” and then Find sources in Source Discovery
Enter your search term and decide to search within the DCF or on the internet. Then click on "Search" to see the sources on the left.
The red bars are interactive and clicking on one will take you directly to the web page.
Check the sources you would like to track and then click on "Add sources to agents" at the top:
Choose the agents you would like to strengthen with these sources. You may also choose to apply the agent's search query or to edit a new query for these sources.
These sources will now be monitored by your agent.
