Google Reader allows you to create a personalized collection of RSS feeds, so that you can receive the information you would like. You can get more details from their website.
At the side of their page, you'll see a browse button:
When you click on "Brower for stuff" you'll be taken to another page, on which you will be able to search for feeds that contain a keyword:
Click on "Search" and then you will be able to enter a keyword:
Then click on search for feeds to get the results:
Use these feeds in a Digimind agent
The advantages of adding these RSS feeds to a Digimind agent are:
- the ability apply a query to your agent, which will filter the information brought back to you, making sure that the alerts are in line with your CI project
- the ability to generate Digimind graphs to analyse the information contained in the alerts from this agent
- the choice of different ways to publish and share this information (newsletters, shared dashboards, reports, etc)
To add feeds you have found from Google Reader, copy the URL in green from the results page. You can then paste this into an agent, using Smart Tracker:
In this way, you can really benefit from the breadth of the Google Reader catalogue to source your CI project.
