You may be subscribed to a newsletter that regularly provides useful information that you would like to keep. It is possible to add a newsletter source to an agent, which will allow you to benefit from Digimind's storage and publishing features. For more information on how to add an existing newsletter source to an agent follow this link.
Set up a Newsletter as a Source
To do this you will need to contact our technical help team. If you have access to our Digimind Helpdesk, it is preferable to enter an expert set up ticket on this matter. If not, you can mail them at firstname.lastname@example.org
You will need to provide the following information:
This is the web page on which you can sign up to receive the newsletter. You will need to provide the exact URL and not just the domain name or the website name.
For example, for the newsletter from the creative site Creative Cow the correct URL is:
The site address or the domain is not enough:
If you are already receiving the newsletter in question you will be able to see this address in your mail box. If you are not yet subscribed our help team can find the sender's address but to do so they will have to wait until they have received the next newsletter. For bi-monthly newsletters you will obviously have to wait for up to two months for this to appear.
Armed with these two pieces of information our help team will be able to set up the newsletter source for you.
Do I need to pay for this?
For simple set ups and free newsletters, this service is free. However, please bear the following in mind:
- Paid subscriptions can be set up, but the cost of the subscription is not covered by Digimind.
- More complex set ups will be charged. A complex set up involves splitting the difference sections of a newsletter so that they appear as separate alerts. Depending on the complexity of the newsletter's structure the cost will vary. Our help team will inform you of this before they start working on it.
