Profiles are a way of storing structured information in Digimind. For an introduction to Profile Manager, read this post.
There a number of different types of information you can choose to include in a profile sheet. To find out how to create your own profile types, please follow this link.
This is useful for displaying a logo or a product image:
There are three ways of adding text to your profiles. The method you choose depends on the amount of text you need to include and the way you would like to display the text:
Using an HTML field, you can also add tables to a profile. You can modify the background and the borders of your table to suit your mood or needs.
You can prepare items in a list, which can then be added to the profile sheet. You can select to allow only one item from the list to be chosen or as many as is necessary.
You can create fields that display only numerical data. These can also be set to show dates or currencies.
It is possible to attach other documents to the profile sheet. These will open when clicked.
Automatically Updated Information From Digimind
As well as information that you can add in manually, profiles can also be set to include fields of information that are automatically and regularly updated.
