In this example, a search for "London Underground" was run through the Digimind Content Factory, and then on the visual analysis tab, the tag cloud below was displayed:
From this tag cloud, some key concepts can be easily identified. The next step is to access the information that is behind the concepts. "Fire" looks like a worrying thing on an underground system, so I'll use this as my example.
To do this, hover your cursor over a concept.
I can see that a total of 72 articles have mentioned this concept while talking about the London Underground in the last month.
When I click on the tag, these articles will be displayed:
Reading the summaries of the articles I can put my mind rest. Fire has appeared as an important concept this month due to the 25 year anniversary of the King's Cross Station fire, which lead to massive changes in the safety procedures in the London Underground.
I can now chose to read the whole article or to save it into a Digimind folder by hovering the cursor over the title and then clicking on action to activate the drop-down menu:
To go back to the tag cloud, I need to click on "<< Back to graph".
Interactive with other graphs
The same actions can be used for other graphs:
- hover the cursor over the part of the graph about which you would like to know more
- reveal the action button by hovering your cursor over the article
- click on action to see the drop-down action menu
- return to the graph to explore other areas by clicking on << Back to graph
