Agents, Alerts and Dashboards
Digimind agents will collect the information you need and bring this back to you in the form of alerts. You can find out more about agents by following this link.
You can then display the alerts on your dashboard, by creating an alerts portlet. Find out more about dashboards by clicking here.
Display options for alerts
The standard setting is to display the latest information at the top of the portlet so that the alerts are sorted by date. It is also possible to sort the alerts by relevancy, agent or type of source.
To change the way the information is sorted and presented, inside the portlet options, click on "advanced options":
This will open a page on which you can select the way you would like to sort the alerts:

This will display the alerts from each agent seperately, if you have chosen to display more than one agent in the portlet.
This will seperate the source types you have used. You will be able to see in one glance where your information is coming from.
This will display the alerts that most closely correspond to the query in the agent at the top of the portlet. Digimind uses the number of times your keywords are mentioned in the information and the position of the keywords in the information to calculate the relevancy of the alerts.
