Track a Facebook Page
Using Smart Tracker, it's really easy to track a Facebook page. You will be alerted about any changes to the posts and the comments on this Facebook page. For more details, have a look here.
Clean the URL
Sometimes when you are on a Facebook page, you will notice that the URL is not "clean", it contains a ? or an =.
This can happen when you have been searching inside Facebook to find the page you are looking for.
For example: https://www.facebook.com/MarmiteNZ?fref=ts&fref=ts
I can still see the page correctly on my web browser:
but when I add this to my Digimind agent, I get the following message:
I can still monitor the page in this way, and I will be alerted if there are any changes on the page that match the query in my agent, but if I would like to track the page as a Facebook page I will need to clean the URL.
To do this, take off the ? and anything that follows it. This will give me: https://www.facebook.com/MarmiteNZ
And I will see in my browser the same page:
And now, in my Digimind agent with the clean URL I will get this message:
