Watchlists for Administrators
Watchlists are one of the ways you can publish information from Digimind. To find out more about Watchlists, please read this article.
Administrators of Digimind platforms have a general overview of all the Watchlists that have been created on the platform. This allows them to see very easily the kind of information that is being sent out, and to who.
Click on “Publish” and then on “Manage Watchlists”.
This will take you to a page where you can see all the Watchlists that have been created:
From here you can see the names of the Watchlists, who created them, and the number of subscribers for each Watchlist channel. In addition you can edit or delete the channels.
See who is receiving the Watchlist
The number of subscribers is in blue. When you click on the number you will open a pop-up, in which you can see the subscribers to this channel.
Click on the yellow pencil by the side of the Watchlist name. This will open a page on which you can edit the Watchlist channel. An administrator of a Digimind platform can see all the channels, other users can only see the channels they have created themselves.
To find out more about editing Watchlist channels read this post on creating Watchlist channels.
Administrators can delete any of the channels that have been created on their platform. Other users can only delete those that they have created.
To remove a channel from Watchlists, click on the red cross.
Activate Watchlists for Users
Users of Digimind are not automatically given access to Watchlists. You will need to activate this option for them.
Click on the “subscribers” tab. You will see details about all the users and the channels to which they subscribe.
You can activate Watchlists for any users that do not already have any subscriptions.
To activate Watchlists for a user, check the box by their name and then click on “Initialize watchlists” at the top of the page.
You may also need to check that this user has the Watchlist option checked on their user profile (inside the adminstration tab: find out more here).
