Finder is one way of searching the invisible web. You can read about it by clicking here.
You can create your own clusters of search engines. This will help you group together the search engines that speak about the subjects you are interested in.
Configure a meta-search engine
The first step is to prepare a meta-search engine. To do this, click on manage in the Digimind taskbar and then select "Manage Meta Search Engines"
This will open a new window in which you will be able to add the search engine in question. First click on engines and then click on add new:
In this example, I will use the Food & Drug Administration site to add their search engine to my meta search engines.
When I click on add new, I will be able to add the url from the FDA page:
Rename the source, select the language of the site and then click on next.
In the next window, write the word test directly into the site and then click to launch the search:
Check that you see some search results and then click on save:
Back inside the meta search engine manager, click on catagories. This step will allow you to create and add sources to your own private category, only visible to those people you would like to share it with.
Click on add new:
On the next page, give a name to this meta search engine, and then use the scrolling window to select the search engines you would like to include in this category. You can add more than one. Click on save.
The meta search engine has been configured.
You can now use it to search for information.
