Digimind Intelligence Reports
Using Digimind to create reports is really simple and allows you to quickly share with other people exactly the information they need. In addition we provide a variety of different formats in which you can export the information:
The default setting is to export in DOC, as this is the format most used by our clients. The choice of the format you use depends on what you would like to do with the information after you have exported it.
DOC / RTF
Exporting DOCallows you to open it with Word while RTF works for other word processing environments. You can then modify the contents of the report and make any small changes you deem necessary.
You can select which parts of the information you would like to export (details or extract, images, personal comments, tags, etc.)
Our users can modify the template of the report so that it matches their corporate style. You can find out more about how to personalise DOC report templates by reading this post.
Exporting in PDF format will create a file based on the Word export, but directly in PDF. This will save time if you are looking to publish quickly information you are sure of.
You have same options for selecting which parts of the information you would like to include and the choice of model as for a DOC export.
You can export directly into a PowerPoint ready to present the information you have found to your team.
There is a choice of two templates. Can this be personlized?
An extract of the information is presented on each slide. The extract is based on the first 13 to 15 lines of the information.
XLS / XML
These formats allow you to export all the data surrounding the information, such as date of publication, tags, folder name, etc. XLS is specific for Microsoft Excel, while XML is for all spreadsheet environments.
The advantages of using this kind of report are varied. Inside the spreadsheet itself it is possible to filter the information by date, tags, etc. In addition you can use the spreadsheet to conduct visual analysis.
In addition, some data visualization tools (used to generate even more powerful graphics and analysis) require data in a XLS or XML format.
Finally, using this type of report you can then inject the information into a database of articles and information.
Reports in HTML can be used to create webpages, which can then be accessed on your company intranet or in a wiki. These pages are created if and when you require and are not automatically updated.
You can select which parts of the information you would like to export: extract, links, publication dates, etc.
