Activating Mobile Notifications
Note: Mobile notifications are available in the latest version of our app, currently available in the store listings. If you already have our app installed, be sure to uninstall, then reinstall.
Mobile apps give us the freedom to work when we want, where we want. The biggest advantage of the Digimind Intelligence app is that you can use it on the go. You’ll stay up to date on competitors, industry news and market trends even when you’re out in the field, commuting on public transportation, or just simply unable to access your desktop.
The mobile notifications feature is a great way to keep up with potential risks, threats or opportunities. We’ll tell you when an article is added to your feed, so there is no need to constantly check the app. And if you decide you don’t need the alert, it’s easy to deactivate it right from the settings of your phone.
How does it work?
If there are any validated articles that haven’t yet been consulted, a message will be pushed to your phone to let you know a new article has been validated and added to your feed. The message will appear as a pop up on your lock screen or as a gentle reminder on the app icon.
To avoid inundating you with messages, the push notification is sent every 20 minutes, and you’ll only receive just one notification on your screen, even if you have more than one article added to your feed.
Digimind takes user privacy and confidentiality seriously. Therefore, the message displayed will reveal no details about the information waiting to be consulted. The message will simply read “You have new information”.
You’re bound to have some projects that you’ll want to keep a closer eye on than others, so we’ve made it easy for you to choose which projects you’d like to be notified about. Just head to the app settings, accessible from the navigation bar at the bottom of the app home screen. Click on “settings” then “notifications”. You’ll use filters to select the projects for which you’d like to receive alerts.
