Dead links are URL addresses that your Digimind agent can no longer get to. This may happen for a number of reasons: the webpage has been deleted, the server hosting the page has been moved, the URL has been modified, etc.
You may want to check on your dead links 2 or 3 times every year, just to make sure that you are not missing any crucial sources in your monitoring system.
Links are considered to be dead if the agent has tried to access it 20 consecutive times without success.
Add a Dead Links Portlet to Your Dashboard
In the Dashboard module, select one of your Dashboards, and add a "Sources" portlet:
Next, select the agent(s) that you want to monitor for dead links. You can search for a specific agent, or select all agents at once:
You will be alerted whenever a dead link is detected among the custom sources:
From the dashboard, you can click on "Edit" to change the URL, "Edit this agent" to open the custom sources of the monitoring agent, or "Delete" to remove the source:
